Dance Deewane 3: Madhuri Dixit Missing From The Sets But Will Return To Shoot Independence Special With Olympic Silver Medalist Mirabai Chanu
The dance reality show, Dance Deewane 3, has managed to grab eyeballs just like its previous seasons. This time too, actor Madhuri Dixit, and choreographers Dharmesh and Tushar Kalia have reprised their roles as judges on the show. However, according to latest reports, Madhuri Dixit has left the judge seat for a couple of weeks due to her personal reasons and it is said she will make a return for an Independence special episode that will happen with India's star weightlifter Mirabai Chanu.

“Madhuri Dixit will return to shoot for the upcoming episode on August 15. The Independence Day episode will also have India's star weightlifter Mirabai Chanu, who won a silver medal at the Tokyo Olympics,” a report published in The Times Of India said. Reportedly, Madhuri will be missing in action from four episodes and will resume shooting later for the upcoming special episode. Dharmesh Yolande and Tushar Kalia, on the other hand, will continue to shoot along with other celebs.

Mirabai Chanu bagged a silver medal in weightlifting in the Women's 49kg category at the recently concluded Tokyo Olympics. Bollywood celebs like Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kangana Ranaut, Anil Kapoor, Dia Mirza, Abhishek Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu, Anil Kapoor and more took to social media to congratulate her for the big win.

Earlier in April, when restrictions were imposed in Mumbai, the team went to Umergaon to shoot the show. However, it was only recently when the team came back to the Mumbai sets after the lockdown restrictions were eased.

In the last weekend's episode, to celebrate childhood in a Bachpan special episode, renowned singer and artiste Daler Mehndi with his livewire brother Mika Singh and popular Punjabi singer B Praak graced the show.
